yes, it's alive and i've seen it. i will continue to see it.
and deal with it as best i can.
i hope for a better place for my little 3 year old granddaughter.
she, as you know, is chinese and we have been blessed by her. i am a woman and old enough to have had people say i am "less than" my grandparents were immigrants and my new niece(my nephew's bride of 2 weeks) is mexican. we've had crap going on in my family now and then since i can remember because my mom's youngest brother married and irish girl that converted to catholic to marry him. they have been married for 51 years but her family still looks at him as not the "best" choice.
me, i just say "phooey" or "fuck" depending on my mood at the time and then i just keep on , keep'n on.
