For my next mama's retreat, could I please come out and eat chocolate and listen to your music? I wouldn't be much trouble, I promise. I'd just sit in the corner and melt quietly into a puddle. Bessie Smith and Sweet Honey in the same playlist would turn me to mush quite adequately. Chocolate would *almost* be an afterthought.
Woah, Bing Crosby. Love his X-mas songs. What a beautiful honeyed voice.
I've come to sing the praises of your Banana muffin recepie. It makes heavenly muffins, but when I went to make banana bread last week, I wanted something with a little more tooth, so instead of 3 cups of baking flour, I used 1C whole wheat, 1C oat bran, and 1C general purpose flour. I have diabetes in my family, so I cut the sugar to 3/4C, and made it brown. Sprinkled Ghirardelli bittersweet chocolate chips over the top, and WOW! Filled a 9x13 pan.
I suggested to Hubby that we take a few squares to a party we were going to, and he said "NO way - those are mine - ALL mine!"
Yummm Yummm thanks for the recepie.
sounds wonderful gypsy, but i don't remember putting out a bannana muffin recipe. hmmmmmm, note to self - get off your lazy butt and do the cataloging project you keep promising yourself to do. . .
andi - one of the things i love about "random" is that i can allow myself to fall into ruts. especially work related ruts. but random being, well, random avoids all of that.
today I am listening to XM Radio on the computer Track 14 Bluegrass 24/7
