last night la esposa and yo supported live music. We went to see a guy you may know. Gary Nicholson. Nashville guy. Has had over 350 songs recorded by the likes of Delbert McClinton and Ringo Star to Winonna Judd Vince Gill to name a few. The guy is a genius.
He opened the show and then after intermission came back with a full blues band as his alter ego "Whitey Johnson" blues musician. Great show. He uses Anson Funderburgh and the Rockets as his band when he is in Texas. Also, they had a local sax player named Johnny Reno. Excellent show I recommend seeing either Gary or Whitey Johnson if he comes to a venue near you. Support Live Music.
