You *will* let us know the name of your truffle shop, won't you? (or if you need some partners, or some taste-testers? :)
stay tuned, sometime shortly after thanksgiving i will be having a truffle give away. a dozen will be up for grabs. and yes, there will be lots of notice about the name of the business, the location, and all of that good stuff.
i was going to ask the same thing.
Let me know if you decide to expand into Chicago...
This random goes to 11.
Sorry, borrowing a little Spinal Tap humor:
#11: txrad was laid off this afternoon. So I brought him home and we're ready to enjoy the weekend.
At least he gets paid and benefits thru January. THAT helps!
the funniest part of that whole bit was that i have a beautiful vintage fender super twin reverb amp (all original stuff still) that i have never turned up past 4.
sorry to hear that. still, that's a pretty sweet kiss off package. i got jack shit. of course, my line is a whole fee for service arrangement just like the other hookers. still to watch it going out without any coming in can be pretty frightening. first of the month is residual payment time, even if they're not making much new stuff there's enough out there that it should carry me nicely for a while.
i was talking with the guy i'm going to be playing with doing the old blues gig the other night and he was remarking at my preternatural calm about all these drastic changes. i said:
dude, i went to bed last night all wrapped up in acceptence and mtoherfucking serenity. then at 2:14 a.m. the eyes popped open the heart started to pound the breathing became shallow and the mind took off like a don garlits dragster driven by shirley muldowney. i didn't get to sleep for another hour and a half, and that only lasted long enough until it was time to get up and feed the critters.
do, enjoy your weekend.
pizza night?
Ah, thank God for those critters. After a night like that they're there for ya even if it's just a hey dude, feed me ritual, they really ground you.
