Land of song say the Warrior Bards
Though all the world betrays thee.
One sword, at least, Thy Rights Shall Guard,
And one faithful harp shall praise Thee.

One Time and One Time Only (no really, I promise)
CAT BLOGGING!
This is my Mom's Siamese, China. She is gorgeous and haughty. She doesn't put up with a lot of mess and thinks nothing of slapping my german shepherd Abbie one across the chops.
i have always been intruiged and grudgingly admired the cat's ability in mind control. even my mostly feral barn cats exhibit the skill to an impressive degree. . .'scuze me but i have an overwhelming desire to leave a chicken wing on the kitchen counter, back in five.
my cat bob is a lynx point siamese. there are two types of siamese the traditional long tringular head and the apple headed. and then there are the different points, seal point, lilac etc.
the apple headed have rounder heads and are way friendlier, tho each cat always has their own personalities.
OMG, she's stunning. The eyes are the windows of the soul, indeed. I love all varieties of the Siamese--they simply rule the roost. We don't have any right now--four domestic country calicos, well, three plus the son of one, Marely, who's almost all-black--but we have been blessed with their company in the past.
Smart, demanding, and loyal like there is no tomorrow.

Aww! It's like someone shaved Matilda!
KITTEH! ZOMG, GIMMEH! 8^D
You should really touch into your feline side more often.
oh my god! she looks exactly like my mom's cat cindy!
cindy has those qualities and then some. she is also the smallest siamese i've ever seen. she's 11 years old and the size of a 6 month kitten.
thanks for posting her picture.
: )
She's pretty and kind of scary at the same time.
My word verification is "prost." I love it when it's phonetically sound!
...I am getting very sleepy...I can't move...I will open the tuna if I know what's good for me...I won't remember a thing...
What? Why am I holding the can opener?

Yes. Nothing unusual about that...nothing at all. Nooooo.
Never have liked Siamese much. Too thin, nasty mewl, bit standoffish, even by feline standards.
Give me a hearty barn cat any day of the week. For him, I'll give a can of jack mackerel and all my love, 'til he turns tail and walks off.

bob is my baby, follows me wherever i go.
I guess I've only ever met apple headed ones because the few I've known have been friendlier than most cats - dog-like in fact.

both that i've had were apple headed and just like dogs.
i love the breed.
my mom's tho, she's the original siamese. regal and demanding.
I think China and I share a similar attitude. She's very mysterious looking. I like her.

If eyes are the window of the soul this one's eyes are yet another reminder that while dogs have owners, cats have staff.....
