The hardest return trip I ever made was when I visited San Diego about 8 years ago. I remember why.
Ah, but as idyllic as it is, NONE of it could exist without the systemic, and ferocious, destruction of the ecology of the Colorado River watershed.

yes, south mission bay, bonita cove to be exact. the big building is the hyatt islandia, and the tower to the right is the skyride at sea world.
