there was actually a study done that concluded our musical taste is formed pretty concretely by the time we have reached 25. if you haven't been exposed to and touched by a style or genre by that time there's not a lot of chance you'll get into it. jerry jeff is a fave of mine. he's a madman and a hell of a player. we used to call him "jacky jack double trouble" way back when. how can you be stuck in the past when you have that glorious new knopfler/harris side?
