Land of song say the Warrior Bards
Though all the world betrays thee.
One sword, at least, Thy Rights Shall Guard,
And one faithful harp shall praise Thee.

Happy Birthday Boss
Eagerly anticipating the release of "Magic" and hoping to start some sincere shit during the next election.
Back in the mid-70s, before the Boss made the cover of Time, my friends and I saw him and the band two nights in a row at the Uptown Theatre in Chicago. Too excellent for words...
After he hit it really big, I saw him a few other times at the big arenas, but those two nights in his early years were definitely a musical highlight!
my uncle's family lived in jersey. 3 of my cousins still do. they were full of praise for him long before he made it big. i came to see what all the fuss was a few years later. he's simply the boss.
Currently Reading: Against the Day - Thomas Pynchon (still slogging through) Just started "The Reluctant Fundamentalist" by Mosin Hamid.
